What to expect from psychotherapy

I can help increase the strengths that exist in each client, discover new ways of managing current stressors, and create strategies to assist transition to a positive future. I encourage my clients to set goals, and practise new, healthy behaviours, enabling changes to occur as they feel the courage and support to move beyond prior limitations of thought and attitude. As clients come to understand what triggers their pain, anxiety, or moodiness, the old patterns lose their hold and meaning.

Through the process of psychotherapy what is eventually revealed is the client’s core in all its strength and limitless potential, which then becomes a compass for choices and decisions that shape one’s life. In fact, once one becomes aware of their authenticity, they long to take charge, steering their life to paths of joy and fulfilment, making meaningful connections with others and resuming life in a creative, passionate, unapologetic manner.
