My passion with psychotherapy goes hand in hand with my own journey on the path to self-knowledge. This path, with all its twists and turns, reveals to us our core, free from inauthentic layers which might consist of learned behaviors that reflect the expectations of others or the roles imposed on us by society. On my journey, I constantly strive to be true to myself and I know from experience the joy of seeing, responding to and catering for the authentic self. In my life the most pleasurable, meaningful moments are those when I am in true connection with different people, with nature and, above all, ‘in sync’ with myself.
I am a strong, dynamic individual with an inquisitive nature and I have an ‘experiential’ outlook on life which I love to explore on a professional, personal and spiritual level. By making conscious choices I ensure that my life is a total reflection of who I am. For instance, creativity is an integral part of me, so it is also a part of my daily life. I find that painting is for me a channel for this creativity and a means to express myself but also to experiment and explore without external limits. I also seek opportunities to connect with nature and the outdoors, as a way to feel connected with the rejuvenating energy of nature and also to put my human concerns into a broader perspective.
I know through all my experience in life so far how unique all individuals are and how valuable this uniqueness is. To my mind, gaining the freedom to express this through our choices, being aware of the responsibility that comes with this freedom and finally expressing our creativity to its full extent are the three ingredients that can lead us to a fulfilling life, where we can be in unwavering simultaneous connection to our core and the here and now.
I feel passionate about guiding clients on this journey of self-knowledge on which they can recognize inauthentic parts of themselves and discard them and eventually feel empowered to remake choices and decisions that will free them from anxiety and strife. My clients see from their own experience what I know to be an unquestionable truth: that we are never happier than when our life reflects who we truly are.
